An illustrated talk by Claudia Giannini
February 9, 2017/6:00 p.m. Dinner/7:00 p.m. Lecture
Over the course of 35 days, Claudia and a friend hiked the Camino de Santiago—a 500-mile walk across northern Spain. A World Heritage Site, the Camino (also known as the Way of St. James) traverses beautifully preserved villages, spectacular scenery and culturally rich cities like León and Burgos. Claudia will share some of the highlights of her journey in an illustrated talk and discussion with the audience.
Claudia Giannini serves on the museum's Board of Advisors and recently led a Gallery Talk on the Along the Eastern Road: Hiroshige's Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido in June 2016 at the museum.
