Martinsburg, WV is my family home. My husband and I have two children and three grandchildren.   We have recently retired and are traveling for pleasure.

I graduated  from St. Joseph High School, Martinsburg and Strayer Junior College, Washington, D.C.  After marrying and moving  to Minneapolis, I attended the University of
Minnesota studying art history and interior design.

My local art  education began in Shepherdstown with Robin Young and Joe Meyer both of whom I  am so grateful for my start in Watercolor Painting.  Previously I worked in oil and acrylic.

My  first love is painting flowers in  watercolor.  Children at play and old men are  also topics I love to paint.  I am learning to paint landscapes with the help of Tom Lynch who is  presenting a local workshop in Martinsburg.

Some workshops include:  Robin Young, Mohegan Island, Maine, Don Getz, Joe  Mayer, most recently Skip Lawrence, And National Gallery of Art One Day Abstract, Tom Lynch.

My husband and I always visit galleries when we are traveling and I cannot imagine my life without art.
