A native Marylander, and now happy resident in “wild and wonderful” West Virginia, Cinzia is an oil painter who paints in a realistic style.  Her subject matter includes landscapes, still lifes, architecture and people.  Cinzia also enjoys working with egg tempera and pastels.  She produces works that are both commissioned by others and initiated by her.  Educated in art in a community college setting as well as independent group lessons, she was taught by professors who were educated at the Maryland Institute College of Art.  Her experiences and education were broadened by her studies in life drawing classes and international trips.  She is most inspired to produce art that has meaning for others as well as creating paintings that show the wonder and beauty of God’s creation.  Cinzia pays careful attention to the play of light on the scene before her and renders her paintings and drawings with detail as well as attention to accurate colors and depiction of reflections and shadows.  Cinzia also enjoys applying her skills to works that depict religious art.
