Carol was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Penn State University and moved back to Pittsburgh to marry and start a family.
In 1966 she moved to a suburb outside of DC where she began sketching and taking art classes. She began painting in earnest once she retired and moved to Boonsboro, MD. She has taken classes in various media, and works in pastels, oils, acrylics and watercolor. She also does commissioned work on portraits and animals but has completed several works on landscapes, seascapes and still life. Carol displays in various shows throughout the Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania areas and is currently a member of the Pastel Society of America as well as the National Portrait Society. Many of her works are on display at the Mansion in Hagerstown Park where she is a member of the Valley Art Association and takes part in the shows held there. In addition, Carol belongs to the Potomac River Artists Guild displaying in shows in the West Virginia area. She currently offers weekly classes in oils, acrylics and pastels.
